Psychological profile of Kim Jong Il
Nord Koreas Diktator

Computer simulation of a man's future basing on his psychological profile Psychological profile of Kim Jong Il was made up using Karl Leonhard's classification.

Temperament - prone to affective exaltation. Intrinsic to such temperament are enthusiasm, demonstration of high feelings, idolizing of emotions. Kim Jong Il is a fervent collector of movies. He often brings together his nearest entourage to watch a film from the collection. During a show Kim becomes exited so much it gets hard on people nearby. The film about James Bond fighting North Korea got Kim so mad he grabbed a ball pen and pricked his Minister of Culture all over, spat toward the screen, and when the movie ended made a half-hour speech about falsity of Western propaganda.

Personality - demonstrative. Self-confidence, vanity, bragging and egotism make difference for such personality. Nearly all Western leaders who dealt with Kim found him unpredictable. A good example was his "promise" to stop North Korea's nuclear program and "assurance" to keep brotherly relations with Russia, provided his country received assistance both from the West and Moscow. This is what he said to President Putin during their official talks in Pyongyang. Encouraged by his first headway in the foreign affairs as President, Putin enthusiastically reported the results to leaders of the Big Seven. Kim took time to hear the exited reaction from the world's mass media, and then made a treacherous comment about the Russian leader having misconstrued his humor.

Personal characteristic - extrovert. Kim never stays alone. There are always people around so he can take his emotions out on them and show off his leadership. He is in a constant search for newer ways of implementation of his ideas; Korea seems to be too small a place and his father's Chuchkhe" ideology too obsolete for these. In 1980s Kim Jong Il ignored his father and introduced pop music to North Korea. Even though ideologically censored, it was unthinkable at that time for such a totalitarian state. In 1989 he twice brought Russian pop singer Alla Pugatcheva to Pyongyang.Eversince Koreans have been singing Russian hits in Korean language. IQ is 105,i.e. average. Kim failed to finish a military school, then, to meet the formalities, graduated Pyongyang University. However, he likes reading and collecting books, and it made him quite knowledgeable. Kim often quotes famous writers, but his preference goes to Oriental wisdom. For example, he thought up an expression " Pay good with good, pay cruelty with super cruelty" and passes it off as a proverb of Korean ancient thinkers. At a press conference recently he used the expression with regards to President Bush who had declined to provide aid to North Korea.

Irritability: high. Kim Jong Il often gets irritated without any apparent reason, and takes it out on people nearby. Song Khe Rim, one of his former wives, could not bear his tyranny and fled from her villa in Switzerland as soon as the chance presented itself. According to Japanese newspapers now she lives in Moscow and shows around the scars left from her joint life with Kim. Suggestibility - low. There are no authorities for Kim Jong Il, and he is self-conceited enough to resolve any problem all by himself. Physicians who treated him say he is not susceptible to hypnosis so there are no any psychotherapists who would be helpful to him. Meanwhile Kim suffers fixed ideas, spy scare, claustrophobia; the latter is especially pronounced in his fear to travel by air. Because his phobias and psychic oddities are so many he apparently needs help of psychologist or psychiatrist. But they are useless owing to Kim's suggestibility being too low.

Sexuality: high. Kim keeps changing his wives and lovers. On record he has two sons and a daughter, off the record-over 100 children. During his father's rule he used to go incognito to Moscow and Prague, then Western Europe. Experienced Moscow prostitutes had no problem recognizing Kim in pictures shown to them by local special services, and had legends to tell about his sexual power. Mendacity - very high. Like any Asian leader Kim Jong Il is treacherous and insincere. He cheats even when there is no need to. While traveling by a railway in Russia he ordered for him to meet a family of the old Russian war veteran who had saved his and his father's lives during the World War II. The elderly people went out to a railway platform and had been waiting there for many hours for Kim to appear. But the latter would not show and preferred to stay in his air-conditioned car and to watch these people suffer in the scorching sun.

A proven fact is Kim always rejects his birth in the village of Viatskoe 70 kilometers from Khabarovsk. He was born into a family of Kim Il Song, his father, the then commander of the 88-th battalion of separate brigade in the Soviet Army, and Kim Chen Sik, his mother. Kim Jong Il asserts his birthplace was Mount Paektusen on the border between China and Korea. He sticks to the lie notwithstanding common sense and the fact proved by records.

Ability to concentrate - poor. Because of his future being totally unpredictable, Kim Jong Il has never bothered putting great goals for himself. He was absolutely positive that he would inherit power by his father's will. The only concern was a threat of overthrow by foreign enemies. At home all opponents used to be brutally executed or die of hunger. More than 2 million people died in Korea during the several years of Kim Jong Il's rule. Correlation of reason and emotionality. Like most of Asian leaders Kim is a fusion of mystic beliefs and hard pragmatism, caused by a continuous struggle for survival. He believes in good and evil spirits, The Supreme Being, likes fairy tales and science fiction. To make a decision Kim often relies on luck. That is what happened when he was involved in simultaneous talks with Bush and Putin regarding a new orientation for his country. At that time he thought banking on both counterparts would eventually help him figure out who of the two would be more preferable to choose. The result was neither hopeful worked out. Nevertheless when making a decision on internal dissidents he preferred to rely on a shooting squad: his pragmatic thinking was the best enemy is dead enemy.

Bent for narcotics and alcoholic drinks: average. Kim is known by his craving for French cognac and wines. At home he has large collection of old refined liquors. Sometimes he affords to get drunk, and it makes him a very unpleasant company. He giggles, talks stupid and gets contemptible. Kim is aware of this and tries not to drink too much when there are people around. With narcotics he is very cautious. In early 80s he approved to ship secretly raw opium to the Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories of the former USSR. At that time it was an important way for the Korean leadership to obtain hard currency. But laboratory trials showed him how dangerous it is to use narcotics, so he prefers liquor. Interestingly, to chase a shot he only uses rice balls stuffed with radish or salted cucumber. Cognac and the snack are always at his side when he is traveling.

Luckiness: very high. Fidel Castro and Kim are the only living relics of despotic socialism on the Earth. All others were less lucky and could not preserve their dictatorships.

It is a common knowledge that Kim Jong Il likes horses very much and is a skilled equestrian. Once his horse bolted and he fell down into a 300-meter deep gorge. The horse broke to death whereas Kim got by without a scratch.

Percent of predictions come true. All predictions made over the last three years by Western seers, astrologists and prophets came true by 50%. This fully accords to the theory of probabilities as applied when guessing heads or tails of a coin being tossed. The probability of predictions made by Oriental foretellers proved to be somewhat greater-it came true by 80%. Many of them foresaw the armament build up in North Korea and Kim's eagerness to enhance his own image by means of scandalous and irrational behavior. Alarming enough, Oriental sages are predicting for Kim to get famed the world over by securing a military victory over the US.

Kim's successful rule has nothing to do with his personal qualities. It just came to him by the will of his father who had enjoyed an unconditional support of the two communist giants-China and the USSR. The recent political changes in the world ruined these protections. Spoiled by the nonjudgmental attitude cultivated in him since little up and by his weak psyche, Kim Jong Il is trying to leave a trace in history through resounding confrontation with the US. That he understands the weakness of his position is clear from his son having been designated recently as his official successor, while preparations for the nuclear war are in full swing. Kim's weak personality might do the world a poor service. People like him go the full way in order to satisfy their ambitions and win fame.

Unfortunately, most of the computer simulated options of Kim's future behavior are destructive and dangerous to the world. Two thirds of these options portendnuclear war may break out in the Far East.
